It's UNIQUE that I endorse a service or company. So I'm going to
explain why, I hope you'll see my points.
My son, Joe Jr., has 14 years experience working on P.C.'s and
Mac's. He has a 2 year associate's degree in computer science at
Vaterrott College which all technical in computers rather than
mostly English and electives and a few hours in computers. Joe Jr.
has been hired by large companies even as a sub contractor for the
US Postal Service to work on their postal sorting machines. He's set
up networks for Indian Gaming casinos, and other huge companies.
He's worked for companies that due to confidentiality that he can't
say that he worked on their computers and networks. He's good and
I've never seen him stumped on a problem. However, for my problem,
he said that he'd have to order special disks and he wasn't sure how
many hours the repairs would take. Two other "experts said similar
things".
In less than 4 minutes, Gary walked me through how to solve my
problem over the phone. If I wasn't so sleepy and could type faster,
we could have had it solved in two minutes, or less.
My points are from first-hand experience I know Gary is:
1. Very EXPERIENCED. That's serious to get the job DONE & FAST !!!
2. He's FAST and that's important when you pay by the hour.
3. He's HONEST which is important when access to a computer could
cause ID Theft. He can also enroll you in a program that is like an
Anti-virus program for YOU to RESTRE your IDENTITY from the DAMAGES
of Identity theft, if you get it before the "theft is discovered."
He could have worked on my computer for 3 to 4 hours like some
shops, then solved the problem.
4. Trip charges are a major income source for service people. No
trip charges within 60 miles (maybe round-trip)is like giving you a
huge discount. It allows you IN-HOME or OFFICE service withOUT the
extra expense.
5. If you are not a computer expert, reconnecting all the cords can
take some time. Some cables will fit the wrong thing and I destroyed
a scanner by plugging into a port that fit. The monitor fits several
places. In home or office calls at no extra charge within an area
WHEN POSSIBLE, saves you TIME AND MONEY and gets you up and
productive faster. You know how long they worked on your computer
too.
6. When you have a problem, do you want to RISK your confidential
computer to someone in the yellow pages that might over charge you
or worse, or someone who builds their clientele on word-of-mouth
advertising by satisfied clients and giving them really great deals
and SAVINGS.
7. Gary talks ENGLISH when he explains the repairs. My son's talk
GEEK JARGON that means something to them, but at times it's like a
foreign language to me.
8. I like Gary's personality. Some service people have NO
personality or bad ones. When you need help, I hope you'll try Gary.
